If there is one thing that I want to accomplish while I am here, it is to make at least one life better because I have lived. It is so easy to self-destruct, to destroy, to collapse into your own pain, and to find those who will support you in your decision to use, booze, or lose.
But most satisfying are the lives that stand up for someone. Blessed are the ones who speak out for those silenced and hurting. And the progress toward the most immense feelings of joy, is as simple as opening your heart. We are not insignificant as one. Go do something for someone, anyone, and let that joy sink in. It's addictive.
