This is one herb that you do not want to be without. It is worthy enough to come out of the kitchen and find a place in your purse or your car. For first aid purposes such as heart attack or stroke, or bleeding from wounds inside or out, please read this webpage and find out all about the herb that is saving lives and doing much more than giving your food that extra kick. This is one blog entry you will be glad you read.
From my own personal use, you'll get over the heat to experience renewed energy, circulation, etc.
My dosage is 1 tsp cayenne mixed in warm water--and as the website will tell you, in the event of heart attack or stroke this dosage is enough to get the circulation moving--with this, you may just save a life. It may be yours or someone else's.

My kitchen has been a water factory since June 4th and I have given out over 10 gallons of it so far...and it looks like there are many more to come. Prill Beads live up to the hype and surpass it..I now know from experience!
YOU WILL NEVER GO BACK TO REGULAR BOTTLED WATER OR TAP WATER--WHY? WHEN WHAT YOU MAKE IS FAR SUPERIOR IN HYDRATION and NUTRITION THAN THE MOST EXPENSIVE WATER ON THE GROCERY SHELF?
Prill water is the ONLY water my son drinks and I am seeing the benefits already.

The information there will change your life and the lives of all pets, plants, and people you love!

Use referral number #10148 if you are asked to supply one.
Open 8am-8pm Pacific Standard Time (3 hours behind East Coast)
I am updating this post to let you know that I have received the Prill Beads and am making my first batch of vital water as we speak. It is in a gallon glass jar in my fridge with the lid off--to help remove chlorine (I am using regular tap water to try) You can buy cheapie gallons of distilled or spring for fresher water--that doesn't have chemicals in it or use tap water and turn it into vital water. The prill beads remove the impurities....and impart magnesium that is assimilated into the body without a laxative effect.
After brewing my first batch for 24 hours...I can drain off 2/3 of the glass jar contents and pour it into any container to hold it...then fill up the glass jar with the prill bead bag in it and the remaining 1/3 water with any kind of water and make prill water every hour for life!
There is more information on my new site www.mostpreciouswater.blogspot.com and I hope you will check it out. It also has information about the role magnesium plays in the body. I will let you know and post any changes/testimonials I get for you to read here or on my most precious site.
Blessings and love to you all and here's to the Youthing Revolution!

Here is one of my writings, penned around the time of my grandmother's passing. While it is validation for the feelings I had at the time, and validation for some of the feelings I still experience, I am including it here, in hopes that the words find a home in someone else's heart--to help with the continuing storms of life we all face. There is no weakness in the expressing of emotion, as the status quo would like for you to continue to believe. There is a beautiful depth of strength that comes with the ability to feel every facet of whatever emotion you are feeling--and even more beauty in growing right through it all. I hope you find enjoyment in these words, as I have found more solace and innate power by bringing them forward.
The Changing.
I'm changing. And it is neither here or there, fast or slow, ever present or removed. Many things swirl about me and lead me into both amazement and apprehension, but I choose to remain. And I put my armor on as I have been taught, but today I do it with the full presence of purpose and correctly complete the task. An armor forged in fire, yes, but not fashioned with dread. I stand as mortal and immortal refusing to die on my knees. And a better fight I will wage, until I can stand in the light of what blessings have been promised to all. It is here that I feel the unmistakable hold, of growth, encouraging me to be pliable. For it is the fluidity of certain trees that prevents their breaking, and guides them into their own individual strength. Standing, possibly stumbling they might, yet continuing without fail to hold position.
However, it is when some trees are felled, that we are most affected. We came from their seed, and stood in the shadow of their seasons. And depending on when we first took notice, saw their explosive splendor, their willingness to bend, their refusal to budge, and new rings worn like badges of honor--declaring their wisdom to us. We took comfort in their shade, growing with certainty, and learning to cooperate. But when marked they were, we tried to stand tall while dying inside, knowing that we would one day have to remember to grow on our own. And in this time, a new story is written about the fallen ones, mothers become grandmothers, and in line the saplings follow suit. Keeping a foothold while their souls are eroding, they claim a victory by living, not knowing that they have. In the absence of sanity, some sanity still remains.
I am changing, but I am choosing to stand and stay firmly rooted. I ask the Great Spirit to hold me up when I get weary, for as we cannot see the air, we still know it exists to keep us among the living. It is now that I know myself to be a dichotomy, and am okay with that. I'm not okay but know I will be. Grief takes its stick and buckles my knees, but I choose not to yield that final inch. I mourn but am triumphant. I am confused but see with a new found clarity. I know the pain of loss, but know better the true generosity of love. And no matter the cause or the effect, choose not to focus on the madness of the world, but wish to always remain a dancer to my chosen drummer. Death is the great equalizer, and it is because of this that I am who I am in public and in private now. It lets us know that we have work to do before we go, and to do this work in love--unapologetically and consistently.
I am choosing to listen and love with everything I am and I have. To make a difference when and where I can. To not deviate one inch from my soul's greatest purpose--to be present in this life for as long as I draw breath that sustains me. And while days will come that will find me in shelter, I have decided to remain, and put down the jagged bricks of the past for better ones. However, these new bricks will not build again the wall that once was. They will reinforce my destiny and remind me to be stronger at the broken places during the tomorrows to come. To be present and know, that while anything can happen to stunt our progress and enthusiasm, bigger possibilities abound when we focus on the impossible becoming possible. It is here, that true blessings transpire unbeknownst to us all. It is here, that we are rewarded for bending with the storms.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to take a little time to say thanks to those of you who have expressed an interest in my blogging, and continue to jump back on here to see what else I am looking into, talking about, working on, or giving an opinion on. Well, I took the jump and decided to give the Life Enthusiast prill beads a try. At this point I am waiting for them to arrive in the mail, so then I can give a firsthand account of this vital water that many are saying will replace the need to buy bottled water, helps clean up the environment, and enhances the lives of people, pets, and plants. Well, you know, it meets my first criteria for inexpensiveness in comparison to frequent usage. One purchase lasting indefinitely...yeah, I'm cool with that. I will continue to update this blog and my new one (the Fountain of Youth) with my experiences with prill water. I hope this post finds you happy, blessed, and filled with love. If not, figure out how to get to that point and get there!!! Oh yes, and I happened to stumble across a link where you can watch The Secret for free for a LIMITED time. I shall place the link here for you...as I have seen both, and words do not begin to describe how I feel about the experience. It IS a nice change from trying to avoid being inundated by all the other stuff out there. Enhancement of the thought process is always a welcome thing...hooray for education. Well, I'll be posting again soon...Enjoy and Much love to you all!

I have been given my life back. I know that this is not a subtle statement, but this week I took the plunge, trusted my instincts, and connected with good people who have helped me find peace. And after three months dedicated to researching something that I had heard about 15 years ago, I decided to try, and if nothing, the expense would be minimal--if something, the peace I would gain would never be able to carry a price tag.
My situation was stress. Naturally being a passionate person, I tend to be high-strung and expressive. I have never been one to hide my emotions, however, when stress (both internal and external) presents itself, and you find that you are not the person you once were--able to handle things beautifully--it wears on your soul. I wanted to enjoy being a mom, but I couldn't change gears enough to take that pause and appreciate my gift. I adored my child, but found my brain racing and seeming more like a drill sergeant than Ms. Compassionate Mommy. I didn't want to be this person, but I found myself rushing and focusing on everything that had to be done and not on true quality time. With it being just me, I couldn't rely on someone else to be there to do what needed to be done if I was sick or tired--because in a single parent family, sick and tired do not exist--you exist in spite of sick and tired and do everything like every other day.
I wouldn't change my situation, because having my son improved the quality of my life. His birth improved my focus, my determination, and my ability to dream and work toward those dreams coming to fruition. I was upset because I felt that I could be a better mom to him in an emotional sense if I could get some peace. I didn't want to attribute new found peace to a medication--though many find relief in this way, it is a personal choice that I refuse ongoing medication for mood. I began to search the web and found myself back and looking at a word that I was introduced to fifteen years ago; orgonite. I wanted to know more, and wondered if it could help me--this healing art.
I found out through the wonderful and inspirational emails I received from Roxanne at Orgonix23.com, that this could be my answer. It had already inspired her personally, and those who would come to tell her about the power in their purchases. You may never understand the concept or the reason why, but being that there are many things that we do not fully understand, yet enjoy benefits of, orgonite is no exception. I am learning as I go, but know as of this past Thursday, that a healing energy in my purchase brought me to my senses, calms me, and most importantly, makes me a better mother. I listen, truly listen and slow down to enjoy my child and his day. Where I would get upset, I am firm but diplomatic. It, for me, is akin to being set free. It is worth exploring, and I am proud to provide this link to you. Not only because of the peace I have regained, but for the wonderful people who create the healing art on the site. Branch, Lukas, and Roxy, I am so thankful that you patiently educated me and helped restore my peace, and let me know how the power of one can truly help many.
All I ask is for my readers to approach everything with an open mind--I know what it has done in my life, and am still amazed that something so simple could produce such energy. I will forever be amazed by this, but will allow myself a break in my deer in the headlight look to post the link for all to peruse. I list this link only because the price is fair, the product is superior, and the people are genuine. And when these things are in alignment, I feel the need to support high quality small businesses. Thanks everyone for taking a look with an open mind, and thanks to Orgonix for bringing this peace--this life force into my life. It's priceless.

Short on funds, no insurance, or the doctor can't fit you in? Need a reference point on something that can be done while waiting to be seen? Whatever your reason, I have found a very resourceful site with natural cure ideas. If you try something and it works for you, send an email along, and let me know if you wish for it to be used as a testimonial on the site. I thought that this link might be a welcome addition to the information listed here. Use your best judgement as deciding to pursue natural treatment options are strictly a personal choice, but also talk with your doctor about your wishes--especially if you are taking medicines. Know if there are things that may conflict with your medication. And if you have allergies, know what may aggravate them, or not interact well with them. Find the path that works for you, but ALWAYS make clear, informed choices when it comes to the health of yourself and your family. With all that being said, the link below is for your perusal, and if you have a story that you wish to share, let me know.

words of wisdom for a most troubled world.
This applies to everyone, not just boys growing to be men--if we can raise our children with this philosophy, then I think we will have succeeded as parents--as stewards. The following poem by Rudyard Kipling should be our mantra--our code and our staff as we walk this Earth.
As Kahlil Gibran states in The Prophet:
Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you, yet they belong not to you...
....You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.
If... by Rudyard Kipling
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!

Ultra-amazing Twilight America Products!
My friends, after a bit of independent surfing, I have stumbled upon a very interesting and seemingly beneficial website that caters to all income brackets--since poverty tends to be a huge stumbling block to health and wellness--and sometimes everyone, regardless of income bracket, can use a break. As nothing on this site professes to be a cure for any particular ailment, the testimonies alone from clients do seem to express a decent level of satisfaction with the products listed here. The three products that I personally wouldn't mind looking into are the Precious Prills, Magic Oil, and Magic Water. Not only are these items, as the others are as well, seemingly beneficial to our two-legged set, the four legged friends in our homes quite possibly may find some benefits as well. Though eventually I hope to experience them all in one form or another, the above three have peaked my interest most.
I have included the link to the Life Enthusiast website in my links to the right. If you happen to try any of the products listed here, please let me know by emailing me at ourhealinghands@comcast.net. When I try any of them, I will surely add my personal testimony to the site as always.
The Precious Prills seem to be the first on my list. When I hear about possibly not having to buy bottled water again, helping the environment, AND those around me, it begs a trial. And for something that is cost-effective (2oz bag for 15.00, 3oz bag for 18.00, and up), and lasts INDEFINITELY, now you know I must see what the hype is all about. Click on the LIFE ENTHUSIAST link on the right and you will go straight to the website. Keep checking back for my personal experience post on this and possibly many other Life Enthusiast products. Until then, keep in touch and happy healing!
I find during my day to day, that some discussions arise quite frequently. One of these subjects that keeps popping up is Prescription Assistance. As I have my own personal views that I adhere to, one thing I will never tell you to do, is to make snap judgements in regards to your health care. And as this site is here to let you know what people have tried and found interesting in the realm of alternative therapies, it is in no way a substitute for sound medical advice from your chosen practicioner. All of that being said, I will list a few outlets where relief may be found in the realm of prescription assistance. It is no use to have to take medicines, and not be able to acquire them, or to have to choose between medicines and basic necessities. If you know of any that are not listed here that you have had success with, please email me at ourhealinghands@comcast.net And now for the links I have found--never give up if your need is great, and be a blessing to others--someone's life may count on it someday.

I have been doing quite a bit of research online pertaining to these additives that have a profound hold on our society and have found some troubling information. I believe in free will, and a person's ability to choose what they want to ingest, but I also believe in giving people the facts about what they put into their bodies, and let them decide if it is worth it. The links that I have added to this post will redirect you to some informational sites pertaining to synthetic sweeteners. Please read and whatever you decide, just make it an informed decision the next time you go to the store.

Regarding the use of artificial sweeteners...the key word is artificial. For optimal health eat as close as possible to nature and that includes your choice of sweeteners. I hope the links will give you an idea about what voluntary usage of chemically-derived sweeteners can cause, and if any of the symptoms apply to you, I hope you find the way to change your mind about what you ingest every day.

An update on the cleanse...it is working! My body is adjusting to the psyllium and the tea has been reduced to 1 cup of water per tea bag (beginning 2nd week) I am amazed at what is happening with my body..I notice that my skin has a glow to it, my energy is coming back (I got up without the alarm clock at 6 am and feel great!) Those of you who know me, know that I HAVE NEVER BEEN A MORNING PERSON! And for four years have been awakened by my son the human alarm clock...Anyway, I am very happy to be doing this, because if my work can help others, it makes it all worthwhile. the FrequenSea is next for me since I want to do my cleanses in order. I feel like I am getting my life back, and that is the best feeling...knowing that Lennon may have to keep up with me.
You're probably wondering why I am on this drive to cleanse....I had to finally say to myself...Life is for the living...if you are not going to strive to live your best life, and enjoy each day as much as possible, and strive to make a difference in something other than the television channel, get a shovel, pick a space, and start digging.
I hope my entries help all who are taking the time to read them. I am for health, as natural as possible, with no damage done to the life all around us, and my motivation comes from seeing too many people go through debt to get well, have to choose between food and medicine to stay well, and the cycle of expense and invasive procedures hurting more than helping. There are doctors who are open-minded and patient centered, but it is time that we choose wisely, and treat ourselves and each other like the temples we are, and not like frat houses. If I can help one person because of the things I do, it is well worth my effort to undertake the cleanses and report back! :)
If there is something you need to find and can't on this page...be sure to check the archives by clicking on the specific month. Blessings to all who enter here and please let me know success stories of your own..I will be glad to publish them.
Have a great day!!!
A flash of the words in bold came to me this morning, so I did a search and came up with this entry. Not knowing where they came from, was very interested to know it is a Psalm. Hope you find some strength in it as well.
Psalm 61
1 For the Chief Musician. For a stringed instrument. By David. Hear my cry, God. Listen to my prayer.
2 From the end of the earth, I will call to you, when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
3 For you have been a refuge for me, a strong tower from the enemy.
4 I will dwell in your tent forever. I will take refuge in the shelter of your wings. Selah.
5 For you, God, have heard my vows. You have given me the heritage of those who fear your name
.6 You will prolong the king's life; his years shall be for generations.
7 He shall be enthroned in God's presence forever. Appoint your loving kindness and truth, that they may preserve him.
8 So I will sing praise to your name forever, that I may fulfill my vows daily.

With all of the things going on about cleanses, and being one who believes in the need for everyone to take a break from all of the madness we consume in our day to day, I decided a while ago that a colon cleanse would be for me. I didn't know what a cleanse like that would reveal, but I felt that it would be best for me to know for sure. Being 32, I have had quite a bit of stuff that hasn't been the healthiest to ingest, so I felt that a clean like this would do me good. Also, I wanted one that did the job, but was fairly inexpensive as well.
I have been on my cleanse since Wednesday of this week, and having started my psyllium regimine on Thursday, and today being Friday evening, I got my first indication of what has been in my colon and what possibly will be leaving my body in the days or weeks to come. I refuse to describe in detail what that indication was, but let me say that I have never seen anything like it in my life, and I am glad I am getting rid of it. It is absolutely nothing I have ever seen after any meal I have eaten for 30+ years--at least the meals I remember from being a kid and the after effects of the digestive process.
What am I taking, do you ask? Thanks to the great people at "A Journey Within", a health food store in Triadelphia, WV, I got great answers as to what would be a good, inexpensive cleanse, and a wonderful talk session to go along with it. My mom was with me, as we have decided to go through it together, and see what it is all about, and we also picked up supplies for friends of the family.
If you are close to the Ohio Valley, I suggest stopping in to see "A Journey Within" it is a beautiful store, with a great vibe, fantastic people, and great products. However, if you are not near that area (my dear out of state buddies), GNC has started to carry these cleanses--especially the one I am about to list for purchase. Also the company is online as well.
The first part of the cleanse is the Colon Cleanse Tea, by Health Plus Inc. do not drink this tea without the second part of the Cleanse, because it will go straight through you.
The second part of the cleanse, is the Health Plus Inc. Colon Cleanse (High Fiber) with the red label. Stick with this one since it is more servings per container and a good 7g serving of fiber per tablespoon. This is the Pure Psyllium Husks...which do a fabulous job of cleaning. I have been mixing them in juice (at least 8oz and drink quickly because they thicken in liquid) because they do not have much of a taste, and I do want a little excitement with my fiber.
Do Not get sugar-free...Aspartame is a different and destructive chemical that is doing horrible things to people...but that is another entry to come.
If you can't get into the husks in liquid, Health Plus Inc does carry the capsules of psyllium--not as many servings per jar and a serving is 6 capsules. It is personal taste. Since I was going to go the inexpensive route, my total for my cleanse so far has only been about $20.00. Hopefully as I go on, I will come to the assumption that one of each is all I needed...I will keep you posted on that.
Please drink water, fruit juices, and the like to stay hydrated, if not the psyllium and its bulking action will bring elimination to a halt. Keep things moving!
Basically you want to work yourself up to 3 servings of psyllium a day (1 heaping tbsp in about 8oz of water or juice 3x a day), and keep hydrated...and follow the instructions to the letter on the box of tea. Do not steep for more than 2 minutes...it is very potent.
My example regimine is: 1 heaping tbsp Psyllium in juice in the morning, breakfast, then my cleanse tea, 1 heaping tbsp psyllium in juice around lunch time, lunch, 1 heaping tbsp psyllium around dinner time, dinner, and then finish the evening with my tea.
Listen to what your body tells you in regards to the amount of psyllium it can handle...work yourself up to the 3x a day.
If you take medication, take psyllium 2-3 hours before or after morning meds as not to interfere with the absorption...psyllium swells in the colon and works to peel the toxic layers off of the colon.
Like the Gallbladder cleanse, seeing is believing...and today made a believer out of me.
Two Wolves
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two 'wolves' inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

I am so happy to finally be publishing this very post. I have had the great blessing of being given some amazing information that I am longing to share with everyone!
The ocean has given us a great gift called marine phytoplankton, and it is doing TREMENDOUS things for people all over the world. It started with Tom Harper, a Vancouver shellfish farmer, who was growing this phytoplankton to feed his shellfish. After a while his health began to deteriorate, and he found out that he had Mesothelioma, a rare and very serious cancer, that survival from is basically nonexistent.
So as his health continued its downward spiral, one day he decided to dip his finger in the vats of phytoplankton and eat it, much to his family's dismay. However, when he went to get a biopsy of the sites and undergo an invasive treatment, what the doctor saw, amazed him...all sites were clear...Mr. Harper attributes his miraculous recovery to the phytoplankton, and many others have similar stories of what FrequenSea has done for them, their kids, their pets....
I implore you to check out my website, and try the product...or if you do not, get it for someone whose health is not on the mend. At the least, it will tremendously enhance quality of life, and maybe it may save one.
I decided to join as a member, in order to spread the news about this amazing discovery, because too many people are suffering and not able to afford health coverage, or even the discounted rates these discount plans offer. And too many people are having to choose between food or medicine, while the drug company representatives enjoy both food and health coverage.
It is time for us to spread the word about something natural that doesn't have side effects worse than the cure. It's time for us to not have to lose a home, job, or savings account because we have to go to the hospital. It is time for us to choose the doctors that truly have our best interests in mind, are open-minded and not stifled by their own egos.
You may only want to experience FrequenSea and not become a member, which is perfectly fine, since you are taking a stand for your health and the health of your loved ones. However, if you use FequenSea, and are amazed by its results, you may want to join up and become a member in order to be equipped with the information to truly spread the news.
Another reason I joined, aside from the discounted price for my FrequenSea purchases, was the fact that this company gives back. They do NOT take from the ocean and leave it in a horrible state. They actually give back more than they take away for FrequenSea's commercial use, and in doing so, help in making the environment better.
People reporting amazing results, a company that gives back more than it takes and keeps its miracle accessible for everyone, and gives its members and potential members a chance to build a business they can be proud of....I hope you try FrequenSea, and give it a chance to do amazing things for your life and the lives of others....blessings!

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, let me sow pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light,
and where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Everyone has been told that gallstones and kidney stones cannot be passed, and that it just isn't possible without surgery. Or that passing kidney stones is excrutiatingly painful. The following cleanse is one that I completed in October of 2005, just to say whether or not the impossible could be possible.
I didn't have any kidney stones to be passed, or didn't even notice them since I didn't choose to pee through a disposable mesh strainer during the cleanse. However, the first three days of the water/apple juice fasting program is the kidney cleanse and if you have kidney stones, the apple juice is the remedy for them. And if you have kidney stones that are bothering you, I suggest the full four days of the K and G Cleanse--Version One.
Truthfully speaking, I was on the hunt for gallstones, even though I had no history of gallbladder problems. The gallbladder and kidney cleanse that I found in a book my mom purchased, called Cleansing or Surgery, was supposed to remove gallstones that most every adult has, due to our modern diets. This alone surprised me, because I was possibly carrying around gallstones that would continue to build up until I knew they were there because of an attack.
I decided to do it, in order to expel any gallstones I might have, and also to clean my body out and hopefully quit smoking--a habit I had that had built itself up to a pack a day addiction since 1992. I felt that if I was going to go through a program like that of fasting and cleansing my body, the last thing I wanted to do was defeat the purpose by contaminating my efforts.
I decided to do the fast, which I will outline two versions for you in my next post, and passed 13 gallstones. I saved them for my mother to see before I got rid of them, just to let her see that it did work. This cleanse is one that has that wonderful "something you can see" element to it, so all of those days on water and apple juice will not be all for nothing, I assure you. The second version of the fast was a modified version for my mother, who completed the cleanse in August of 2006, and passed 18 gallstones. And who knew passing gallstones could be so exciting! Woo Hoo!
Oh yeah, because of the fasting, this October I will celebrate 1 year of being smoke free!
K and G Cleanse Version One
(4 days) (all day Friday-Monday)
4 gallons of steam distilled water
4 gallons of apple juice (I used Mott's Natural for mine)
a couple of lemons (1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice)
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil (cold)
straw
for the first 3 days you will drink up to a gallon of water and a gallon of apple juice only, each day. (do not chew gum during your fast because it stimulates the digestive system and the hunger pangs that happen are a total drag.)
on the evening of the third day before bed (maybe around 6 or 8pm) drink the olive oil through the straw and chase with the lemon and lie down on your right side, with a couple of pillows under your right hip to put you on an incline. This position helps the oil and lemon drip into your gallbladder and work its mojo! Lay like this for 4 hours...do not move or change position...just read or watch movies...after that change position...if you have to go to the bathroom, look for gallstones. Green ones are the young ones, and the older ones can be red or even black. See how many you pass and enjoy the fact that they are out of your body where they can cause no more problems!
On the fourth day you may be passing all of the stones or more from the evening of the 3rd night...just take it easy...drink water and apple juice, but slowly try fresh fruit and organic vegetable broth, you can have orange juice as well...this helps get the body back in shape for digesting...if you notice pain after eating, take it easy....you are coming off of a healing and cleansing fast....A Big Mac attack would probably cripple you.
K and G Cleanse Version Two
(3 1/2 days)(Friday evening-Monday)
Only difference in this cleanse is that you begin after work on Friday with your apple juice and water program. I modified this one because my mom had some cravings she wanted to feed during the day, and since I am not a tyrant, I agreed to it and supported her cravings....After that, playtime is OVER!!! Continue all day Saturday, and all day Sunday. Drink your oil/lemon between 4-6pm on Sunday for an earlier 4-hour recline, and will probably eliminate most of your gallstones later that evening. That monday, continue as the above cleanse states.
**Saltwater Cleanses clean the entire colon from top to bottom, but require you not to leave the house for about a day. These help expel toxins that your body is eliminating. I suggest one of these during one of the weekend mornings of the K and G Cleanse to thoroughly clean out the colon. Usually the Saturday of the cleanse is best if you are looking to work that following Monday--but during this cleanse, taking that Monday off would be wise if you can unless you do very light office work.
Do not take a saltwater cleanse in the morning before going to work...your reputation would be ruined for sure!
for the Saltwater Cleanse:
Mix 1tbsp epsom salt with one big glass of water and drink. The mix will soon wash your colon clean--this is not to be confused with a colon cleanse that we will go into later that pulls the putrefactive waste that has been stuck on the colon for years.
The kidney and gallbladder cleanse is an adventure, but definitely worth it when you see what was in you waiting to cause trouble, sent on its way!
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves,
who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you NOT to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn't serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not in some of us, it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give others permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others
--A Return to Love, by Marianne Williamson
I began this site in order for us to have a central location to list actual home remedies, fasts, and products that we have used, and that have had a positive impact on our lives. I do not profess to be able to cure anyone, but hope that something here will impact your life and possibly the lives of those you know and love, thereby showing you how much power we have to change our lives for the better.
Our Healing Hands is also a place of service. I believe that transformation of the spirit happens when we are of service, in big and small ways. And here is a place where we can work together to build stronger communities, stronger relationships, and stronger bonds. The first thing I want you to know, is that you are capable of great things, if only you believe. The fact that you have come to this site, is proof enough of your willingness to be a part of a community greater than us all. Hopefully here we can create a network of knowledge, joy, power, and success, and pass that on and change lives.
Welcome to Our Healing Hands, where you are that rain drop, that ripples the water, that changes the tide, and creates an ocean of positive change that will live on for generations to come. If it seems extraordinary, it is, and if it seems impossible, it isn't. The posts that will be published here will be first hand accounts of remedies that have been tried and have had results of some kind. And the posts that will be published here, will be available as a networking resource, in order to help those who seek it.
Thank you for visiting Our Healing Hands, and please bookmark us as a favorite so returning for updates can be a snap.
Blessings to you and yours,
